Can I monetize a Remix?

Suno allows creators to turn on Remixing for their songs. However, that does not mean they give up the rights, or allow you to monetize your version of their track. In short, the origin of the track will determine the ability to monetize!

• If you are the original creator, and your original work was made while subscribed, any remix you make while subscribed will be eligible to monetize.

• If you are the original creator, but your original work was made on the free plan, a Remix is not eligible for monetization.

  • One caveat would be if your song started with an audio upload containing your own lyrics, melody, and song structure. In this case, we'd recommend making a new Cover from the original audio, rather than the previous Suno Remix.

• If you are not the original creator, any remix you make will not be eligible for monetization.
