What are copyrights? Or, what is copyright?

Copyright is a term used to represent a legal right to reproduce(copy), distribute, adapt, or perform a creative work. This can get confusion quickly, as rights are not universal: the qualifications for copyright vary by region. Further, that region's willingness to protect those rights can also vary. This is why Suno does not guarantee you the copyrights to outputs made by Suno. Instead, we grant commercial use rights for songs made while subscribed, which allows you to attempt to monetize the material without Suno claiming a share of the royalties.
