Exporting from Studio

Edited

Studio offers flexible export options to help you get your music out of Suno and into your production workflow. Whether you need the full mix, individual stems, or MIDI files for further manipulation, Studio has you covered.

Using the Export Dropdown Menu

The Export dropdown is your central hub for getting audio out of Studio. You'll find it in the top-right above the Timeline.

Export Options

When you click the Export dropdown, you can choose from several export scopes:

Full Song Exports the complete mix of your project, including all tracks and processing.

Selected Time Range Exports only the portion of the timeline you've selected. This is useful when you want to export a specific section or loop from your project.

Multitrack Exports all tracks as stems within the context of your Studio mix, giving you maximum flexibility for mixing in your DAW of choice.

Exporting Individual Clips

Beyond the Export dropdown, you can also export individual clips directly from the timeline:

  1. Right-click (or long-press) on any audio clip in your project

  2. Select Download.WAV from the context menu

  3. The clip will download as a high-quality WAV file

This is particularly useful when you want to grab a single element without exporting the entire project.

Exporting MIDI from Stems

One of Studio's most powerful features is the ability to extract MIDI from your audio stems. This opens up creative possibilities for remixing, reharmonizing, or simply learning from the generated melodies.

How to Extract MIDI

  1. First, extract stems from your clip using the Stems panel

  2. Once you have individual stems (vocals, drums, bass, etc.), click on the stem you want

  3. In the context menu, select Get MIDI (costs 10 credits)

  4. Studio will analyze the audio and generate a MIDI file representing the melodic or rhythmic content

This feature is especially valuable for:

  • Recreating melodies with different instruments

  • Analyzing harmonic progressions

  • Building new arrangements from Suno generations

  • Creating sample packs with both audio and MIDI components

Export Quality

All audio exports from Studio are delivered as high-quality WAV files, ensuring you have the best possible source material for further production work. MIDI files follow standard MIDI format specifications and can be imported into any DAW.

Pro Tip: Before exporting, make sure to check your clip settings (tempo, transpose, speed) as these will affect the exported audio. You can find these settings in the Clip Settings panel on the right side of the interface.
