What are Personas?

Edited

Do you want to capture the vibe of one of your songs, and use it to make more great music? If so, Personas will help you get there!

With Personas, you can save the essence of a song—its vocals, style, etc., and recall it for new songs whenever you need it!

Create a Persona:

  • Find a song you love, then click the triple-dot More Actions icon

  • Choose Create > Make Persona

    • The first message will let you know that Personas are public by default; if you don't want other users seeing your persona, just toggle to private!

  • In the Create a Persona menu, you can:

    • Name the Persona

    • Generate or upload an avatar

    • Add a description

At the top, you will also find the original song in which the persona is based on.

You can locate your Personas or create a new Persona in your Library; look for the Personas tab, or visit here for a direct link: https://suno.com/me/personas

Using Personas After Creating

After you've made personas, you can access them any time you are using Custom mode to generate a new song. Just look for the Personas area directly above the Title field, click to show your options, and choose the Persona you want to use. The style details for the Persona will automatically populate in Style of Music.

Want to see a Persona in the wild? Click this link to see an example of a song created with a Persona. If the persona is public, it will be directly to the right of the Display Name.
