How do I make a song?

You can make a song in seconds using Suno!

Suno allows you to create by entering a simple description, or by entering information including lyrics, style and title. The screenshots below are from our mobile web browser version:

First, tap Create, or the Create button

Then, simply type a description in the Song Description field. There's a placeholder there already, so you can immediately tap Create and generate a song based on the placeholder, too. If you do not want lyrics, be sure to enable the Instrumental toggle!

If you use the toggle next to Custom, several new fields will appear. The Create button will be disabled until you enter Lyrics (or toggle to Instrumental), the Style of Music, and Title.

After tapping Create, two versions of your song will be generated!

Note: If you prefer one over the other, use the thumbs up and down icons to help refine future results!
